I think that the connection is one account at a time even if the user has multiple accounts under one email address.

Let me check a bit more in to how Connect works with Standard accounts. Are you having trouble adding the proper account or are you asking if it is possible to add them all at once?

Our user is having trouble adding the proper account.

The account they want to connect does not show up as a selectable option.

I suspect it has to do with different types of accounts, but I'm not sure what account types there are (Standard, Express, etc.)

Do you have the ID for the account that they want to connect with?

The account type can definitely matter here. If you are connecting an account that you did not make, it needs to be a Standard Account.

Actually, take that with a grain of salt. Now that I think of it, I am less sure on how that works for extensions. Will check in to that in a moment

How do I instruct my user (a non-dev) to get their account ID? Is it accessible in the Stripe UI?

Yes, on this page you can get a list of their accounts with IDs https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/user
