Hi ๐
Unfortunately we cannot help too much beyond what is shown here: https://stripe.com/docs/sigma/transactions#refunds
You can restrict the refund types by examining the balance transactions as we detail here
the problem is not so much the refund and the balance, but the reason details esp when the generic reasons are not selected...
our support engineer are putting the reason for the refund in the "other" which should be in a note
the problem is I dont get if it s a credit_note
a connect_..._credit_note
and so on ๐
kinda lost in the schema to find where your UI is putting the "other" info
Oh, okay so the user selects "other" and then there's a note associated where the detail what this "othe" is
that s in the Stripe UI. when you select the menu for a refund, you have a selection of reason choice, and then "other", if you select other you can put a text, which is what I'm looking for in the DB ๐
Do you have the IDs of some of the refunds where you are seeing the notes in different places?
you want prod or test ?
Either should work
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
that s on test
Thanks, still looking in to this. Having trouble looking up some docs on this. Will get back to you with what I can find
thanks you so much, cause I really tried, and I'm a bit lost ๐

Are there refunds that you are currently worried about missing that may not be showing up through those queries or the credit note query?
the refund are not the problem
we get the refun alright
what I need is the note content attached to it
which I dont know if it s a credit note
or something else like a reason field in some of those tables
Hi ๐ I'm back. We're still looking
Is it possible for you to generate a test refund where you select "Other", add a note, and provide us the ID of the request? The ID would start with re_
If/when you come back online, this would be a good question to write in to Support with. They have more resources to troubleshoot Sigma queries than we do: https://support.stripe.com/contact/email
