I installed using the expo recomended version with expo install @stripe/stripe-react-native

I did some tests and I updeted the Stripe SDK to the last version and after update pod looks like is working fine... but I don't feel confortable doing that changeds to versions that are not tested in the Expo SDK

Got it. I don't have much knowledge on the internals of the React Native library
