Hi there, you need to upload the apple-merchant-domain-association file to your prod server before registering the domain
but documentation says it can be used in test environment as well
according to documentation
You need to do this for domains you use in both production and testing. When testing locally, use a tool like ngrok to get an HTTPS domain.
Yup, but you still need to upload the file to your server first, regardless the environment
i have uploaded the file but still the error shoes up.
as i mentioned i have the file in public/.well-known folder
can I have your public URL?
The page is not loading
i am using ngrok which tunnels the local url to a public url
yup, but the page is not loading for me
let me check it again
you need to click on. visit with unsafe
then it will open the page
well. i am currently working on a website. The website is in nextjs. The apple-merchantid-domain association file is uploaded in public/.well-known folder and when i try to register the domain. it says...
We had trouble registering your domain. Please ensure you are following the steps as seen here: https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button#verifying-your-domain-with-apple-pay. If this keeps happening, contact us at https://support.stripe.com/contact.
??
i am able to see the file when access the folder on the website
but stripe apple pay is still saying.
we had trouble registrering your domain
does this file have any expiry?
Hi! Can you share the public URL that ends with /.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association?
That looks correct to me. What's exactly the error you see when you try to add that domain? Can you share a screenshot?
Can you remove the https:// from your URL in the input? So only add af48-203-175-72-146.ngrok.io
