Are you able to make other requests to the stripe API? (Like if you try stripe trigger customer.created does that work)

Gotcha - so something is preventing your from making requests to stripe. Do you have a firewall or anything that could be blocking these requests?

I don't think so - i've also tried on the windows client and am getting the same error. I'm not behind a custom firewall or on a VPN. The error sounds like it's coming from your api as the error makes it sound like it's responding with an Internal Server Error (500)

Are you able to make other requests to Stripe's API? Like if you create a customer using a curl request does that work?

I've been creating sessions and customers using the API from my code all afternoon, I'll just git it a go with curl now

OK, so I can do it with the standard Secret key, but not with the "Restricted key" that the CLI generated automatically with stripe login
