so even though the platform wasn't the one that originally transferred the money into that account, we can still used the reverse transfer API call?

No reversal transfer only works if the Platform is the one transferred

Ok so how do we transfer an amount from the connected account to the platform is we weren't the ones who originally transferred? We were told be Stripe that this was possible because we have been covering portions of transfer reversals for some time now so there are rogue balances in connect accounts that belong to us

ok great - thanks. I can see in the article that it says "The connected account and the platform must be in the same region" does that mean if we covered part of a refund for a connect account in NZ and we are in AUS that we won't be able to recoup that money?
