How did you trigger 3DS with 4242?

yes not actually 3d modal..it is just a modal which open on clicking pay button

hmmm, i wasn't able to simulate this and was able to pay that Checkout Session. It could be a transient issue. If you see this issue again, can you write in to Stripe Support with the relevant details such as the PaymentIntent id? We'd look into it further
