Hi there. What integration flow are you using?

tawny nova
#

Destination charges with stripe connect

#

Are you using Stripe Checkout?

#

Or Elements?

tawny nova
#

Elements

Gotcha, in that case you have to handle this yourself currently as Stripe Tax does not yet support an Elements integration. If you don't want to handle this yourself then you could look into using an extension (see: https://stripe.com/partners/apps-and-extensions?q=tax)

See on the fees of a transaction, there is a tax automatically applied and I don't know how it is calculated

Ah okay that is a bit of a different question. Can you provide me an example PaymentIntent that I can look at?

tawny nova

Sure

#

Maybe it's 23% of the total stripe fee

Ah that's perfect!

Thank you for your help

urban flume

Of course!

I can now sleep in peace haha

Just one more question actually

#

I'm not sure if it's too high level to ask here but when creating separate transfers on a PI - Do you pay fees on all the Connect accounts your transfer funds too or just the PI?

urban flume
#

Just the PI

#

There are separate Connect fees

tawny nova
#

Ah perfect!

urban flume
#

For Connect payouts for instance.

tawny nova
#

There would just be connect payouts applied at this case

urban flume
#

Yes

tawny nova
#

That's perfect - So if I get a PI for €2 and I send a destination transfer of €1 - Their Connect account will have a balance of €1

#

Then when a payout is done to their bank - They pay the 0.25% + 10c on that balance

#

Resulting in a Net payout of €0.89

I believe the Connect fees come in batches to your platform. But I'm not a pricing expert. For this you will really need to talk to our Support team.

That's no problem - Thank you

I will get in contact
