I'm not clear what you mean by generate an invoice from the connected account to the platform. Can you clarify? An example is fine as well

I am @tribal zephyr colleague. We are looking into whether it is possible to create an invoice from the connected account to our platform when we transfer money to it. Indeed, in France the tax authorities ask for invoices from the entrepreneurs who work for the platforms. For example, an Uber driver who makes a trip receives his commission, he has to prove with an invoice what the platform has paid him on his account.

I'm not sure we have receipts/invoices for transfers but let me quickly double check 😄
If we don't, you'd probably want to generate these on your own by utilizing webhook events

do you mean payout or a transfer? At stripe we use both of these terms for different things so just want to make sure

I mean transfer, when you specify in a PaymentIntent the transfer_data's destination and amount

Yeah I don't think we support this use-case 😦
You'll have to rely on webhooks to generate these on your end
