What tech are you using, what Stripe APIs are you calling, how are you implementing 3DS? Web, mobile, Terminal?

Additionally, confirming by fingerprint would not meet the requirement here. The purpose of the 3DS flow is for your bank to verify who you are. The SMS code approach solves this by the bank being the one who generates the code and transmits it to a known contact for the individual. Your phone may know who you are but the bank does not get that confirmation AFAIK.

You got me wrong haha, the fingerprint wouldnt be saved in my phone, but in the Stripe app. All banks work like that, Revolut for example. You confirm 3DS inapp by your fingerprint.
What does the picture from official Stripe document mean then? There is no phone 3DS verification possible? Thats kinda odd since this picture had to been taken somehow.

I just generate cards through Stripe Card Issuing, deliver them to my employees and they pay with them for business expenses, thats also where they are getting 3DSs ofc since we are EU based
