There isn't a way to completely skip creating an account, but in test mode there should be "Skip this form" button to allow you to bypass a lot of the onboarding UI
Sorry yes that's what I'm looking for
One second
It marks that it is in test mode but I don't have any sort of skip option
You do have to provide an email to start
and a phone number?
Quick question - what kind of connect accounts are you working with?
Standard
and not using OAuth
Even once I set up the account with a phone number there's no skipping option
(the account to be connected)
This is my mistake - I had assume you were working with express or custom accounts. For standard accounts the "Skip this form" button is only available in the oauth flow
Ah OK that really sucks but I suppose it's not the end of the world. I'm trying to test things repeatedly with connect onboarding so is there a way to repeatedly use the same account I make? Or I suppose to put it another way, can I delete the account_link somehow so I can test it again and again
Also is there a reason the skip this form isn't available out of curiosity? The docs say that OAuth isn't the recommended usage now but not having the skip is a bit of a bummer
Thanks for all your help by the way it's really appreciated ๐
You shouldn't need to delete the account link - you should just able to generate a new one
I don't know of the specific reason why "skip this form" isn't available for standard connect onboarding, unfortunately ๐ฆ
well let's back up for a second - what is your goal with repeatedly creating multiple account links? when you create an additional account link that will continue the onboarding process from where that account last left off
