#Inexact - real card in test mode

The payment should be rejected, you should use one of our test cards in test mode: https://stripe.com/docs/testing
Simulate payments to test your integration.
The one exception that I know to that is for Apple Pay. Apple Pay requires real card details but you will not be charged for test mode charges.
Hm, in this case it seems like the payment wasn't rejected. I agree with your suggestion though, unfortunately in this case a test invoice was sent to a client in error.
I'm just trying to figure out if we should be trying to refund the client or if it's a non-issue since it was done in the test environment
Do you have an ID for this payment? (pi_123)

Thank you. Taking a look
Thank you very much
Yep that card was not charged.
Also that may have been one of our test cards judging on the last four digits.
In any case thank you very much for confirming that it wouldn't have been charged.
The payment that you sent me was made with a 4242 number
And you are sure that this was on that invoice?
Huh, I do not know why it showed different when I looked.
But yes, no charge happened. You should be good.
Ok, perfect, thanks again!
