Do you know how I can get Google Pay to show up? I'm new to Google Pay ๐Ÿ˜… Maybe it's only on Andrroid?

What are you using right now?

Ah Stripe only displays Apple Pay and Google Pay on their corresponding platforms. I'll try to find an android device to test thata.

#

Just my Mac and a personal iPhone. For some reason I thought Google Pay was also available on Chrome OSX. Maybe it is and I haven't added a card to it or something. I'll dig into it.

Google Pay should be available on Chrome OSX, but wouldn't work on your iPhone - it's likely you're missing some setup part, which is why it's not showing up

Yeah, Google Pay shows up on my Android but not Chrome OSX. I'll see if I need to enable some sort of setting for Chrome OSX.

Looks like I can only get Apple Pay to show up on my iPhone and Google Pay to show up on my Android.

Chrome OSX and Safari OSX does not show it. This is not live FYI, it's in a testing environment.

I've added my payment method to Apple Pay on my Macbook in settings and added the same payment method to pay.google.com and using that same Google account for my Chrome browser login. Not sure what else I need to do for browsers. Odd that it works on my mobile devices.

You're not seeing Apple or Google Pay work at all on your macbook?

vernal kestrel
#

Nope. It's odd. I'm using the same URL for my mobile devices that show them.

#

I see Apple Pay in the example on Safari so I must be missing something.

#

Although I do not see Google Pay on Chrome OSX in the example.

#

Gonna dig deeper into browser settings.

I do see Apple Pay (on Safari) on that site but not Google Pay (on Chrome). I ended up getting this error:

Either your browser does not support the Payment Request API, or you do not have a saved payment method. To try out the Payment Request Button live demo, switch to one of the supported browsers below, and make sure you have a saved payment method.
#

I'm using Chrome 99 so it's probably because need to enable "Google Pay" after added a payment method.

jovial lodge
#

I'm also on Chrome 99, so I'm not exactly sure why it's not working for you

#

You're not in incognito mode, are you?

vernal kestrel
#

Nope. I'm testing out a theory right now. I may need to add the card to the Google Pay mobile app and not pay.google.com

#

I thought they migrated away from using the Google Pay app so I didn't add it on there.

I need to head out, but @wanton flower is around if you have more questions!

No worries, thanks for rubber ducking with me Karbi

Have you been able to confirm if it was your wallet setup? If our test page does not have that button for you, it sounds like it is likely your wallet setup.

#

Do you have a page that you can DM me where I can check if this button exists?

vernal kestrel
#

I haven't been able to confirm yet. Treading through the Google Pay app now ๐Ÿ™‚

#

Good to know lol.

Awesome! Glad you got it to work

Any further questions on this at the moment?
