I would recommend not doing this and waiting a little while, we will be releasing a new version of ACH soon. If you need to build something now, you should ask our support team for access to the beta that's mentioned at the top of https://stripe.com/docs/ach .

Thanks for sharing this information

Hi! Sorry we don't have a public release date yet. But it should be soon!

Can I expect in next month?

grizzled lynx

Sorry I don't know.

We need little bit more help

#

We're planning to integrate ACH using Plaid

#

If we integrate ACH using Plaid then, will it be good for us to wait ACH next release?

grizzled lynx
#

What do you mean? You can start using ACH by following this guide if you want: https://stripe.com/docs/ach
But karllekko was suggesting you to wait for the new ACHv2 that will simplify the implementation.

Okay, we want to use Plaid in it, So should be wait for Plaid too?

grizzled lynx
#

The new integration will be much simpler and won't need Plaid. So if you want to use Plaid, then you can use the current version of ACH.

Can I get any documentation for ACH Debit without Plaid, I Hope the APIs only will be update in the next release

grizzled lynx
#

The documentation will be made public once ACH v2 is released.

Ohk, but I'm asking about current document

#

So I can get a basic understanding about the ACH flow and all

#

without Plaid

grizzled lynx

The current documentation is this one: https://stripe.com/docs/ach
ACH v2 is not released yet, so you'll have to wait to learn more about it.

You mean by this Manually collecting and verifying bank accounts

grizzled lynx

Yes if you want to use the current version without Plaid, it's possible as explained in the section you just mentioned.

Ok Thanks a lot!

One last thing:
Is there any major difference between ACH with stripe APIs and ACH with Plaid APIs

grizzled lynx
#

Everything is covered in the documentation link I shared earlier. The main differences are:

Plaid supports instant verification for many of the most popular banks.
And
When using Stripe without Plaid, Stripe automatically sends two small deposits for this purpose. These deposits take 1-2 business days to appear on the customer’s online statement. The statement has a description that includes AMTS followed by the two microdeposit amounts. Your customer must relay these amounts to you.
