Hi! If you want to try declined payments, you can use this test card: 4000000000000341. It will successfully attach to the customer, but then will fail when you try to charge the customer.

you mean first need make setup intent or payment method
then attach that to customer?

Yes you would need a customer with this payment method attached, either 4000000000000341 or pm_card_chargeCustomerFail.

Also the payment method should be set as the default one.
