I am afraid that restriction can not be lifted, unless you are describing yourself as an Extension

I have a diagram that I drew out showing how I wanted to connect the accounts, can I post it here for reference?

I guess my question is more along the lines of is it possible to connect these accounts in this way using stripe connect, and if not what is the best way of doing so

So you have your platform account, and there are multiple standard accounts?

If they are not connected to any other Platform, then yes you can connect them

but if they already are, you can't connect them anymore

Just to clarify a platform account is the account that is sending payments to the other connected accounts right? In my situation i have an account that needs to receive payouts from two accounts, so it was my understanding that this was not possible because those two accounts would be platform accounts. Is this correct?

I believe that's the case, you can't have one Connected Account connecting to 2 Platform Accounts

More or less, you can talk to Support and they would be able to assist you better than us here

This was possible before some timeframe 2021, but not anymore AFAIK
