Thank you... give me a minute to review

OK, so to clarify, I'm onboarding Express accounts, and I'm not providing any up front information about the user when I create the Express account. So in my testing, I've entered my country (US) and that I'm an individual. I enter the external account, and when I'm done, I click the save button, but there's more information that's "eventually due". So I'm wondering if I need to worry about that when it comes to tax reporting, etc. Would a payout fail at some point if a certain threshold was hit and more information is still needed?

It's covered in the doc I shared, it lists every piece of information needed, at which point we need it, etc.

here's something that isn't matching up with my testing:

"To enable payouts, company.address needs to be a validated full address and the company.tax_id (EIN) needs to be verified. Payouts will be disabled if a full address hasn’t been validated or the company.tax_id is not verified before 30 days."

#

the doc you sent me is for custom accounts... I'm dealing with express accounts

it's the exact same for Custom and Express

#

Also you said you were doing individual, so the company document shouldn't matter right?

I am reading the doc, just so you know

#

it says nothing about individuals

is that not what you see?

ahhhhh

#

that page is dynamic based on your country, the type of agreement, the type of business and the capability you are enabling

#

all of this factors into "what do we need and when"

hahaha i thought that was a screenshot

oh no lol

#

it used to be... quite sub-par

#

as a list of bullet points that were half wrong :p

#

now it's dynamically generated from our code and all that leads you to the right information for your business!
