HI 👋 @fluid swift is right on the money!
There is a test card at the bottom of that section that attaches to a customer fine, but then fails to be used as a payment. If you start the subscription with a trial then the first payment automatically succeeds (because it's a zero-dollar charge) and then the renewal will fail if you use that card.
