Hi there, you can use testmode API key to test your integration, there's no need to create a new account.

It won't allow me to finish my authentication without an active account with a bank account

My integration is trying to go through the "OAuth" flow to authenticate with stripe and get back a token to use for API calls.
when i try to login, it will show me a screen that requires me to enter my bank account and won't allow me to finish the authentication flow to go back to the redirect

are you testing in livemode?

i'm not sure i know how to test not in live mode. do i need to use a different oauth url? i'm using: https://connect.stripe.com/oauth/authorize

There is toggle button at the upper-right corner allows you to switch to test mode
