Sorry I am not familiar with the language in the Dashboard, but I believe tax rates is pre-defined, and you select each of them per products

yes, there are predefined rates which i can select, but they don't fit to my business. i have a fixed tax rate i need to add to all of my products (13 % for artworks in Austria), but the pre-defined rates all lead to a tax rate of 20%, which is commonly used in my country. is there a possibility to switch off automated tax calculation but still adding my tax rate to all of my products?

I think you are using both Stripe Tax and Tax Rates? They are different products, and seems like you want Tax Rates but not Stripe Tax

#

I believe you can turn Stripe Tax off in Dashboard

maybe you're right. so Stripe Tax is for automated calculating? but what is Taxe Rates for? If i turn Stripe Tax off in Dashboard and only use Taxe Rates, how can i achieve that this tax rate is added to my bills?

Stripe Tax is for automated calculating, yes, and it's a paid feature. Tax Rates is for manually setting Tax if you can't or don't want to use Stripe Tax

#

And you can set a default tax rates for a Subscription or an Invoice

i tried to deactivate the automated tax calculation in Dashboard, but when i reload the settings page, it is active again...

Really?

yes. another question: is there a difference, if i use Stripe checkout or Stripe payment links?

#

ok, it seems that i couldn't deactivate because i had payment-links with active autamated tax calculation. now the switch stays off. now, as Stripe tax is off, there is no tax added to my bill. how can i add the tax rate i created manually to my bill?
