@hasty marsh yes the behaviour is expected since it's here to reflect all the changes. It's important for businesses that need per line item reconciliation/revenue recognition
We don't really have an alternative other than you "unifying" all those lines manually with code

there's no "customize"

you just delete the line items and you create a new one really

My question about expected behavior is that I am seeing sometimes less lines being generated for the same actions.
Not sure if this was due to something on our side and I wanted to check

number of lines depends how many updates you do in general

#

like if you change the quantity twice, you get multiple prorations
