Thanks for your patience. Looks like you're using our ACH flow (but please correct me if that doesn't sound right) so that Bank Account will be a Source object rather than a Payment Method.

Can you trying setting it as the default_source of the subscription?

Sure I can try that. I am assuming that is different than setting the subscription's default_payment_method? That is we are doing currently as such:

Got it. That seemed to work! Just to be clear though, should I be setting both of those fields to the new source or just the one that you mentioned, and would the behavior differ when setting that to a credit card?

Awesome! So the subscription will first try to use the default_payment_method and then if that field is empty it will proceed to default_source. (If both of those are empty it then proceeds to pulling options directly from the customer record)

Now that you have set the default_source can you try unsetting the default_payment_method by passing in an empty string for that field?
