Hi Daniel,

Thank you for providing us with the additional information we requested. After reviewing your account and the information provided, we can re-enable payouts on your account.

However, due to an increased risk and incidence of refunds and disputes in your industry, we will need to place a reserve on your account to ensure your customers can get timely access to their funds in the event of a refund or dispute.

What this means for your Stripe account
We have strict policies that dictate the level of risk we can support for potential disputes. While your account may or may not have had additional disputes recently, we’ve determined that there is a high likelihood for future disputes that exceeds the rate we're able to support without a reserve. As a result, we're required to hold your funds for an extended period of time. This reserve helps protect Stripe and your customers from potential fraud or disputes.

Starting today, we will hold 10% of your payments volume for 120 days. Once the period has elapsed, we’ll re-evaluate your account to determine if we need to continue holding a reserve. Any refunds and disputes will be deducted from funds in your available balance as usual. If your available balance drops and there aren't enough funds to cover refunds or disputes from your customers, we'll automatically apply funds from this reserve to cover the difference, and if we do, we will replenish the reserve amount from your available Stripe account balance.

You can check on the reserve and your balance on the Balances page in your Dashboard:

 Visit‑your‑dashboard

We know access to your funds is important, and we’ll continue to monitor your account, as well as any additional information you can provide, in case we can remove or decrease this reserve.

If you have any questions, please let us know and we'll be happy to help.

 Have a non-technical question, account issue, or need one-on-one support?
We wish we could help, but this community is focused on developers and technical discussions. Our support team will be able to assist you better than we can: https://support.stripe.com/contact

You can go to above website and start a live chat with our Support friend

#

they would be able to authenticate you can provide more detail

#

But yes I think the email is pretty much it, it explains the decision, and you could follow up by replying to the email, or start a conversation in Support website above

im just wondering why the account was audited ?

I am afraid I don't have the detail either. There is a team responsible for checking accounts (and they check many other things). And via Support is the only way to get talk to them
