My assumption is this is the issue:

You must include the payment_intent_data.setup_future_usage parameter with a value of off_session when creating a payment mode Session for Bacs Direct Debit.

Sorry just a quick follow up. I'm not able to set up the direct debit because of the error in the screenshot.

We just set up this sort code a few days ago, but it's live now, so it seems that Stripe doesn't have the latest EISCD.
