The source_transaction's balance transaction is in gbp, and it's different from the currency you used in this transfer (usd), that's why it failed.

so I can't do the transfer using another currency?

and what if the destination(connected account does not have GBP currency balance but only USD) ?

Hi! As the error message states, the currency of the balance transaction has to be the same as the transfer currency.
In the example you shared the balance transaction is in GBP, so your transfer must be in GBP (instead of USD)

You could try a transfer without setting the source_transaction parameter
