Sorry for the delay. We don't really have an easy way to reproduce this in Test. It happens when the connection token (which the SDK generates) expires

Ah okay, does there happen to be a way to force a connection token expiration? Or could I possibly reproduce connection token expiration by leaving our device and reader idle?

no that's not really possible that I know of, I'd have given some ideas otherwise

but as far as I know this is internal and the SDK would request a new connection token one
