hi

So about my question, will the customer always be paying in USD on their credit card?

It will be like a normal Credit Card charge. The user will be charged in USD, and depends on the issuer bank it will be converted to the customer local currency on their bank statement

I see. But they will see USD on their credit card statement, and it's the credit card company that does the conversion to their local currency

#

Ok, that's a little different from PayPal

I think they will always see their local currency on their credit card statement, with maybe some reference that this is 100 USD. It really depends on the issuer bank

#

Paypal is another layer above credit card

Ok, I get it. It's different than PayPal then. Even when you purchase a product on PayPal by credit card, PayPal still converts to the local currency

I am not sure about Paypal, but I think they could provide clearer UI in their website, but actually taking higher fee, doing the convert themself instead of letting the creditcard issuer do it

#

by higher fee, it could be worse exchange rate. But I can't say anything abt Paypal since I don't know how they implement their system

Yes, PayPal may use a higher exchange rate when they convert USD to the local currency that they present to the customer

Ok, thanks, that's all I needed to know 👍
