Okay, the platform can move funds from a connected account to the platform and then transfer them to another connected account but it needs to act as the middle man and have the necessary balance to cover the funds transfer

I believe so, account debit -> platform balance updates -> transfer to connected account

I think there are different levels of pricing in this situation but unfortunately I'm not an expert in the fee structure. If you are uncertain I would do the following:

Test this process with some test accounts and validate the funds flow is what you expect
