For Standard and Express connect, the connected account is responsible for managing their payout account(s). Platforms cannot create/set a bank account on behalf of the connected account
oh i see, so does every standard account need to be on a stripe dashboard to configure their bank account info to interact with our platform?
And at what point in the process do they enter their bank information? During connect onboarding?
Every standard account will have access to the dashboard where they can add/update their bank account.
And when a user initiates a transaction, what interface do we need to prompt the user to make a transaction? Is it dashboard as well?

They can enter the bank information either during onboarding or later on, but we recommend doing it during onboarding
When you say 'transaction' what are you referring to?
So for our marketplace, say the user clicks "buy" to purchase a vendor's assets. Thats what i mean by transaction
