Well I can login to it, but when I try placing a bid it gives an error

I mean you don't have a stripe account you can log in to
Most likely you need ot contact the platform you're buying form and they will investigate with Stripe
So I would suggest starting there
Do you know, based on the error I send you if a card gets deblocked automatically after those 24 hours?

Usually yes, that's the case
