In that case I do suspect you would need to collect those funds outside this cycle. Like creating a charge with the connected account as the customer

Is that possible with Standard? I thought we could only hit the connected account directly as the platform under Express

i.e. just arbitrarily say 'hey connected account, you're paying us $10'

ah sorry I missed this one @eternal zinc -- since stripe isn't managing the payment that's not possible. You'd need to collect payment info (eg a card) from your account holder and charge them these fees as a customer

So you would have a customer for each such account that was collecting payments this way.

That, or float it and increase the fee on the next payment
