Sure
If I create a connect account for a user and they want to disconnect their account, would I delete their account or just revoke access?
I believe it'd depend on the type of the account you're creating.
Standard accounts created using live-mode keys cannot be deleted. Custom or Express accounts created using live-mode keys can only be deleted once all balances are zero.
Sorry mate, I just want to make sure you are infact a dev?
Yes I am! did I misunderstand your question? ๐
๐
So let's say the user still had some balance left in their connect account, I would only be able to revoke access right?
For Express
In that case I would have to make a new connect account every time?
To give you an example, Buymeacoffee
They also use Stripe
When a user disconnects, would they revoke access or delete the account itself
and then create a new connect account?
So that would mean that there would be a connect account that would still exist but would be inactive?
right?
Is it ok If I leave this with yourself then?
Working with a couple of threads at the moment! Give me a few thanks ๐
Sure.
Ah thanks for waiting!
So if they do some balance, you can reject their account to disconnect it from the platform.
If they don't have a balance, you can delete it.
Just curious if you are using oAuth flow.
yessir, I'm using Oauth flow
But once, it is rejected, would the account just sit there?
Yup it'd just stay there.
