then yes you want duration: 'forever' in that case

if i make the duration multiple months and make number of months = 12

is this mean it will be applied for first year only ?

it means that in 12 months the discount disappears and future invoices after that will not have the discount yes

if i make the coupon to be forever, can i update the coupon of next invoice at any time?

for example the customer take coupon with 5% discount on his subscription, and at the half of the first year he bought extra items and he worth coupon with 10% discount

can i update the next invoice of the current subscription to be 10%, to be applied on the next invoice?

i mean applying a new coupon with 10% discount on the next invoice instead of 5%

you would change the coupon on the subscription really not the next invoice

i read the documentation but i can not find if i applied a new coupon instead of the old one, will it refund the customer for the first year and will be applied to next invoice also ( i want to make sure it will not refund and will be applied on next invoice only)

nothing is refunded, a coupon just gets added and applies to future invoices and it doesn't affect past invoices

it's easy to test all of this in Test mode to make sure!
