In live mode I believe that an email will be sent in the scenario you mentioned.

In your Stripe dashboard, when looking at a PaymentIntent, there's a "view receipt" button (you'll have to scroll a bit to find it)

Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier. Yes it's when looking at a specific PaymentIntent.
