So I checked with a colleague on this. There's not a decline code on this authentication because a 3DS failure isn't a card decline (the auth occurs before any processing).

You would just show the error message here, instructing the user to use another payment method

ok, so there's no stripeErrorCode on 3ds failure. In that case, there's no way to tell if the failure is specifically due to 3ds authentication not succeeding ?

Programatically, no. But you can display that message to the user so they can try again with another card
