Everything about this transaction looks good on the server side.
Can you say more about this, and what kind of errors you do end up seeing?
Are you able to reproduce this, or is it isolated to these specific customers?
What is the actual issue you're having? You seem to mention a number of different general issues.

It happens when the donation is initiated on desktop, but approved on mobile. The payment goes through but there is an error on the phone briefly.

When you say this, you mean the "payment not completed" UI is shown?
And then is changes to something else?
Technically the payment is not completed until you take that action on your server, so I'm wondering if there is an error here, or rather a confusing UI flow

Well we can help with integration issues here, ie how your application uses our client/API, i'm just trying to understand if this is related to how you use Stripe or not
What happens after that UI?
Does it clear once you complete the payment on the desktop/server?

I just tested it and it's working. It is really sporadic unfortunately

Not specifically unfortunately. If you are able to get consistent repro on this, I would suggest writing in detail to support@stripe.com so that we can exercises the steps to see this and figure out why it happens.
