Yes, Magento 2 Stripe extension,
the Magento Stripe error log didn't show any errors either, but that error message must have come from somewhere and I haven't found it within the extension

Magento sent a payment failed e-mail with this error message
and checkout kept on loading and showed a grey error icon (grey bank icon)
I found a potential Stripe quote id in the logs:

We have a specific support staff for Magento 2, so I recommend writing in to support again here: https://support.stripe.com and providing all this info you just gave me. When writing in to support, you should specifically mention that you want to talk to Magento 2 support.
