Hello! Invoices take about an hour to finalize and attempt payment in many cases. Can you give me an Invoice ID to take a look at so I can give you more specific details about what's going on?
For your second question, that's normal if you're in test mode. We do not send emails in test mode.

When the Invoice was created auto_advance was set to false and never changed. Have a look at the auto_advance property in the response here: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/logs/req_bqqYCABISTCf4a
