This is actually a flow you'll have to implement yourselves unfortunately. We don't auto-reconnect when we encounter a session_expired terminal exception in our library

Oh hmmm but the doc says that "The SDK will attempt to auto-disconnect for you"? Or does that need to be updated?

Yeah auto disconnecting is supported, but not auto reconnecting

AFAIK you can expect this behavior with any SDK versions. Have not been able to find a reference which would suggest anything otherwise.
