Have you enabled "email customers for successful payments" in your email receipt setting?
Be noted that we don't send email in Test Mode. In Live mode it should be sent automatically
yes but I am using stripe connect
I want this for my connect customers
and that's not possible using dashboard
Like for e.g. I am shopify and and my connect customers are retails owners. I write a code to handle payment for them. So, if I turn on that setting on my stripe dashboard, its not going to do anything for them.
Which connected account type and what type of payment is that?
If it's Standard Account and Direct Charge then yes each of your retailer owners will have control over the setting, as the payment is made belongs to their Stripe Account
if it's Express/Custom and Destination Charge, it's your customer and you control the setting

When using Checkout, you can automatically email your customers upon successful payments. Enable this feature with the email customers for successful payments option in your email receipt settings.

Hi @pseudo sun the email settings for your connected Express accounts are controlled in your Platform account

Because I have had it on for a year and no receipts are beign sent

I have tried setting the customer_email field while creating a checkout session. That didn't work as well.
check this email: prasann@vstudio.live. I just did a payment today and didn't receive any email.
Can you send me the Payment Intent ID?
