Hello! Prorations don't generate refunds back to the method of payment used by your customer, they generate credits on the next Invoice.
so if they never resubscribe then they don't get the money back?
The info in the bubble you're talking about is for updating Subscriptions, not canceling them, so none of this applies to cancelations at all.

Are you using metered Subscriptions?
I believe the proration in that scenario only applies to metered Subscriptions as explained here: https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/cancel#canceling
i'm not using metered subscriptions
so i guess my answer is to switch my settings to cancel at the end of the subscription period
That's generally recommended, as they've already paid for the time.
