Hello 👋
If you create a customer on the platform account, it is NOT automatically available to connected account. You can only clone payment information across connected accounts.

hmm I see. I also see this https://stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-methods/connect#cloning-payment-methods

So lets say I want to register a new customer and payment method, then have it available to a connected account....

I would first create the customer and attach the payment method regularly. Then would need to clone this payment method on each connected account, as seen here : https://stripe.com/docs/payments/payment-methods/connect#cloning-payment-methods (?)

Yup that's correct.

Each connected account is a stripe account so it'd think of them as they have their own bucket to store the data which only shared with the platform/other accounts with specific API requests
