heya @lusty ridge , can you share which country your account is in, and which countries your connected account would be in?
Hi @lusty ridge , cross-border payouts is only available to US-based platform https://stripe.com/docs/connect/cross-border-payouts
Is your account in US?
Thanks Alex and Jack, yes, the platform account is in US, and the users i.e. service providers are all over the world.
I can see the list of countries on this page: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/cross-border-payouts, instead of manually save this to database, does Stripe has an API that I can call?
I'm not aware of such API I'm afraid.
I can see there is https://stripe.com/docs/api/country_specs, I'll give it a try and let you know
That API seems to match https://stripe.com/docs/connect/bank-debit-card-payouts#supported-settlement, however that only applies to Full Service Agreement but not Recipient Service Agreement which is required for Cross boarder payout. Let's say I have a user in Australia and selected currency is AUD, how do know if cross boarder payout is available for him?
Hi there, I think you have found the right doc, if you selected Australia in the dropdown list, you will see it supports AUD, USD and NZD
But that's for Full Service Agreement but not Recipient Service Agreement which is needed for Cross-boarder payout. For example, on this page https://stripe.com/docs/connect/cross-border-payouts, it says Czech Republic can only receive Euro payout however if you go to https://stripe.com/docs/connect/bank-debit-card-payouts#supported-settlement, there is only "Full Service Agreement" and if you select Czech Republic from the list, then it shows a very long list of currencies.
