Well, we create accounts in two steps, sorry.
Initial create + then update with the rest of the data

And if you remove the account_type paramter?
I think you encountered a bug where it was flagged as required but actually isn't for BR merchants, which has since been fixed
Literally resolved in the past couple days

So based on what I've discovered, account_type parameter was incorrectly flagged as required for BR users. This has since changed
You should remove it from your create/update API calls. Could you confirm?
