That is correct, under account details - edit the only fields it allows to update is the business name and the email address. But on the right hand side there is a statement descriptor which needs to be updated to the new information

No I meant are you using Stripe Connect and, if so, what type of account was created (standard, express, custom)?

When you log into your Dashboard and view the Connect tab you will see a list of acocunts

One of the columns is 'Type'

Okay you should be able to updated email for Custom accounts from your dashboard view

Yes, I can update the email, but the statement descriptor is not updating

The account details which is acct_XXXXX just to the right of that is Statement Descriptor and that is not updatinc

In the ID Column - Email is a few lines below and that updated when I entered his new business email address. but not sure where to update the Statement desscriptor field

Okay in that case what you need to do to change that is use the existing Account ID, generate a new Account Link, and then you can use the Stripe hosted onboarding interface to update more of the business details.

Would you have instructions/link to do that? is this something I, as a regular user would have access to or perhaps I would need my IT department to do that who have additiional access?
