hello! you can refund uncaptured payments. Or as soon as inventory runs out, cancel the underlying PaymentIntent so a customer cannot confirm/pay it

Is this still the case with Clearpay? I am not seeing documentation on that. Some customers do not come back to our site, so they only notification we would get is a paid or not paid webhook.

After it's been paid, I can't cancel the payment intent and the payment was already captured.

my suggestion still stands though

my point was that you only authorize the payment, and if inventory ran out, then you refund it and not capture it

or you cancel the PaymentIntent so even if the customer pays, it doesn't go through

you'd use auth/capture though which IIRC works with Afterpay Clearpay
