I just tried, and I have one products, I see both the name and desciption on the Checkout session on mobile.

We have language "de". Maybe its related to that? Or because of enabled stripe tax?

I also dont see an "Details" dropdown at the top right in your screenshot...

So I confirm that I managed to reproduce the issue, this seems to be due to the tax. Unfortunately there's not much you can do, but I'll report that issue.
