I wanted to keep the same product IDS etc, which I hardcoded is why the import. Creating new ones manually would create new product IDs

As far as I know our dashboard doesn't offer the functionality you're looking for (import products from test mode to live mode and retain the same ID). We do have a button that will copy a test mode product to live mode, but it won't retain the same ID

If you click on a specific product to see it's details you should see it

And so if we simple just change to the live API keys, the payments should be live now right?

Of course we have to do a TEST of the live so its fine to do a subscription and then cancel it right?

As I mentioned earlier, with that dashboard functionality we don't copy over the same ID, so if you have those IDs hardcoded in your integration you'd have to make sure you go change them

Hey, does Stripe have or provide a "best practice" way to keep the API keys "safe" when howting a site application? I know ways, just wondering if you had a best recommended practice way of doing it.

I don't think we offer any specific guide on this since it can vary so much depending on your integration
