Yes, most settings (including smart retries on invoices, for example) apply to both test and live mode.

To test different settings, we recommend creating a separate stripe account for test mode only.

Thanks! Any plan to separate the settings in different env? It's highly needed for testing.

We've heard that feedback and are looking at options, but for now there are no plans and the separate account is the recommend approach to conduct your test dev work.
