Yeah, I believe support was correct - Standard accounts need you to add real (live) payout details in order to enable payouts, but in test mode this will not result in an actual payout.

Alright thanks, and theres no work around for this? Just want to confirm. Also do you know if some form of "test" banking info for a test account is on the dev road map? Having to enter legit banking info to get the webhooks firing is a bit of a logistic pain for me right now, basically stuck between entering my own personal info or convincing the accounting apartment to enter our companies info a second time in a test account.

I don't believe anything is currently planned - this behavior is a quick of Standard accounts that's been around for a while, but I can definitely surface it as feedback so that the team is aware that it's a pain opint
